Our buddy Lyle C. Williams, the hardest working and greatest photographer in independent wrestling, has finally gotten around to providing us his photos for the last four CHIKARA events of season eight! He’s been hard at work tinkering these to make them perfect, even skipping out on a CZW show in November (yes, we’re saying it was for us and we’re sticking to it!) in order to bring these to the fans.

Hallowicked’s crazed sidekick Frightmare is the fourth entrant added into the Young Lions Cup tournament today! Considered by some fans to be a heavy favorite to make it far in the tournament despite his relative inexperience with 2009 being only his first year in action, Frightmare’s got quite the uphill battle ahead of him in his first YLC tournament. Currently his tournament experience isn’t all that great, with first round losses in both this year’s King of Trios and the NWS J-Cup tournament, but he’ll look to turn it around here with surprising showings in Easton and hopefully Philadelphia. Perhaps Frightmare will take after his mentor Hallowicked, the winner of the first Young Lions Cup tournament, and bring home the gold for Incoherence.

Our great buddy and once again Tournament of Death survivor Lyle C. Williams has finally gotten caught up with CHIKARA with his “Aniversario Yang” photos. As always, great snapshots from the best in the biz. Be sure to check them out.

Lastly, a small note from the wild world of Twitter, as UltraMantis Black has confirmed via his account – @UltraMantis – that the CHIKARA crew has touched down in Japan and are currently raiding the pachinko halls of Yokohama. They step foot in the Big Japan ring for the first time later today at this month’s “Dainichi Dash!” event; we’ll have results ASAP!
